Lactate Profiling At The Endurance Lab
-
Why is measuring the amount of lactate that you are producing worthwhile?
There is a point where your pace or speed is maximized before you start producing excessive levels of lactate, this point is commonly termed the lactate threshold. If you stay above this threshold for long you will be forced to quickly slow down by a considerable amount. The goal of distance runners and cyclists (among other endurance athletes) is to race at the pace equivalent to lactate threshold and not to go above it.

Bike Fitting At The endurance Lab
-
If you aspire to riding fast, your bike and body must fit together to form the perfect relationship. If your measurements are incorrect you increase the risk of injury and will under-perform during competition and training. The bike fitting service offered by TheEnduranceCoach examines your posture and skeletal positioning, collects anthropometric measurements and uses the data to calculate the perfect fitting bicycle. The process takes into account whether you plan to race the roads, time trial, mountain bike, triathlon or sportive events.
